As usual, the Snowdrops vs. Oldhands match took part in the Czech Republic, this time in Podebrady. This was the 5th match of this kind, and previously the score was equal: 2 matches ended in the favor of the veterans and 2 went to girls.

At first it seemed like the ladies will triumph again: they crushed their opponents 3.5-0.5 in the first round and won 2.5-1.5 in the second round. However, the chess legends decided not to give up that easily: they managed to equalize the score after round 7 and came on top in the decisive round 3-1! Overall, the Oldhands have scored 17 points and the Snowdrops - 15.
