Players usually face opponents of a similar level. Considerably less frequent are situations when a significantly lower-rated player succeeds in beating a much stronger adversary. The previous week was quite remarkable: we will both witness super GMs losing games to master-level players and see a 13-year old Mongolian boy rated in the 1800s defeat four considerably stronger opponents rated 2507, 2374, 2232 and 2219.
