No, Kg2 loses the pawn
1... Kg2 2. Rg6+ Kh2 3. Kf3 and now the black king can't defend his pawn.
Kg4, Kh2 and Kh4 lose in the same fashion.
1... h2 is the answer :)

1...h2??? What did you say!!! After 2.Rg6, corner...Kh3 3.Kf2, h1N 4.Kf3 we have an elementary final, won for white, with the knight on corner...1...Kg2 2.Rg6 Kf1! =...

1..h2?! actually loses to 2. Rg6+ because black king now has no squares to retreat.

1..h2 2. Rg6+ Kh3 3. Kf2! (avoids \"f3\" square and keeps eye on \"g3\") h1Q 4. Rh6+

1..h2 2. Rg6+ Kh3 3. Rg7! and you get essentially the same position before the 2..Kh3 variation. However, now Black is obliged to make 3..Kh3.

1..Kg2 2. Rg6+ Kh2 is losing move for Black, that is correct. But there\'s no need to get king to the corner.

1..Kg2 2.Rg6+ Kf1!

Mating with Kf3 something and taking the pawn or promoted queen out takes two moves but white has only one :)

And now any White king move allows 3..h2 and this position is drawn because there is no way for White to control \"g1\" and attack \"h1\" simultaneously.

3. Rh6 to take out the pawn falls for 3..Kg2 again.

P.S. Natalia, thank you very much for posting these positions :) Your selection of them is very nice.

1...Kg2! (only move)
2. Rg6+ Kf1!= (only move)e.g: 3.Rh6 Kg2

1...h2?? 2.Rg6+ Kh3 3.Kf2 +- winning after Black gets Knight in the corner
3...h1N+ 4. Kf3 Kh2 5.Rg7 (waiting move) and Black loses Knight and will soon be mated.
