Black to move

In the position on the diagram Black bravely sacrificed a queen (Qa1) and eventually won.
a) Try to calculate the lines after Qa1 and evaluate the situation.
b) Was there an even better move than Qa1? Finding the solution probably won't be easy.

a) One winning line for Black might go like this (not to be regarded as accurate):
1. ... QxR 2.QxQ d3 3.Bc3 BxN 4.BxB dxB+ 5.Kxe2 Bd5 6.Kd3 Be6 7.Bh6 Rad8+ 8.Kc3 Rd4 9.Rd1 Rxc4+ 10.Kd2 Nd4 11.Qxa7 Rc2+ 12.Kd3 Rd8 13.Qxb7 Bf5+ 14.Ke3 Re2+ 15.Kf4 Ne6+ 16.Kg3 RxR 17.c6 Rc2 18.Qb8+ Rd8 19.Qb7 Nd4 20.c7 Rc8 21.Qd5 Ne6 winning Pawn c and the game.
b) The better solution remains elusive.
