In games 5&6 we have witnessed hard-fought draws in the Slav and Catalan respectively. Both contenders have demonstrated superb positional chess (and what would you expect from 2800-level players?). The only issue that made the news was the blackout during round 5, which didn't influence the game much though.
The first half of the match has passed. It seems that Anand is in top shape and has a better opening preparation than Topalov. On the contrary, Veselin is playing well, but not at his maximum. A lot will depend on the match strategies, psychological and physical conditions of the players. With 3,5-2,5 in Anand's favor and 6 rounds to go, anything can happen.

Th game's getting more interesting
Somehow I feel, Anand should press for win in the next match as Topalov ain't pressing enough for a win while he's got black, or may be Anand is far too good with white. Well whatever, had Topalov lost today, it would have been disastrous for him. He defended well.

Chess doesn't have sex scandals like other sports, so I think everything will be ok. Anand does look like he will retain his championship.

It is all about how well Topalov can control his temper. Vischy continuously looks with white for positions which give him a small and lasting initiative. If Topalov tries to break the ties at the wrong moment, like in the second game, Vischy will punish him.
